John Lee Hooker: Autograph Signed in Pencil on Limited Edition Lithograph of his Original Work Entitled "Boom Boom" (1912 or 1917-2001) Legendary blues singer, songwriter and guitarist. He rose to prominence performing an electric guitar-style adaptation of Delta blues and enjoyed great success in contrast to his extremely humble beginnings.
Offered is a color lithograph issued by Manuscript Originals in 1999 that was copyrighted by Hooker in 1962 at the time of the release of his hit "Boom Boom". The crude folk art of Hooker is well known but it is charming and important. While the lithograph has a printed version of his signature, Hooker has co-signed in pencil This is #179/1000 but it is very doubtful the full run was successfully sold. Gallery framed with COA
